Eddy's Emergency Fund

Do you need help paying some unexpected bills?

The Eddy's Emergency Fund is an emergency aid program that provides assistance to students with unexpected financial emergencies. This assistance was created to help students stay in college and meet their educational goals, ultimately, securing a better financial future.

Participants may receive only one emergency grant through this program of no more than $1,000. All grants are reviewed and awarded in accordance with Edgewood College's Non-Discrimination Policy.

To be eligible for the grant, students need to:

  • Have an Expected Family Contribution of $7000 or less
  • Provide documentation of the financial emergency
  • Undergraduate Student, Full or Part-time status

Eligible Expenses Include:

  • Gas
  • Utilities
  • Child Care
  • Food/Meals
  • Housing/Rent
  • Medical/Dental Expenses
  • Personal Automobile Expenses
  • Public Transportation/Bus Pass

Ineligible Expenses Include:

  • Tuition
  • Books
  • Fees
  • Legal Fees
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco
  • Entertainment Expenses
